Amy is the New Inn-keeper and former Barn Manager here at Cypress House. She has worked at both trail ride and private stables from a young age, as well as several B&B's that combined her love of horses and people. Avid in her passion, she loves to share time in the barn with visitors. She and her husband Michael are now the hosts of Cypress House.
Michael is retired Air Force and new to the B&B industry. Whenever possible, he is helping with breakfast, housekeeping and bringing in the horses in for feedings. He is the father of 2 grown children, and enjoys greeting the guest and making them feel welcome.
Guest Information * Small coffee pots, microwave, and dorm style refrigerator in room.
* Pets: We regret that, for health & sanitation reasons, we are
unable to permit pets in any of our guest rooms. *We do have a dog friendly fenced area and kennels if you are traveling with a pet.
* All rooms, indoor spaces, barn, breezeway and porches are NON SMOKING AREAS.
Smoking is permitted in open outdoor areas only.
If we find serious smoking odors in the room, a cleaning, deodorizing
charge of $80 will be applied to the credit card account of guests who
choose to leave smoke odors in their room.
* We lack facilities for children below school age.
* Arrival time is usually after 3:00 PM. Our entrance lane is 9/10 mile
long. Follow the Cypress House signs posted along the way. Reflective
markers are in place if you should arrive after dark.
Departure time is 11:00 AM.
Cancellation notification must be at least 72 hours prior to the day
of arrival, or 2 weeks prior for Holiday weekends or full charges will apply. A 1(one) nights Non-refundable charge will be applied for all reservations. Cancellations must be by direct phone contact, ..NOT Voice mail..NO answering machine. Advertised rates may change without notice. BOOKED RATES WILL NOT BE AFFECTED. Wireless internet is available throughout the property.
Swim in our 15x40 lap pool. Play one of the board or card games provided in all rooms. Or select and watch a video from our large collection.
Relax in your favorite way without being interrupted by phone, fax etc. Watch, pet or ride our horses. Rock on the wide, wraparound veranda and see squirrels, cats, sandhill cranes in their quest for natural foods. Make s'mores at our fire pit that has a grill top also.
