We are pleased to offer horseback trail rides for two or more hours starting at $65 for state forest trails. Our many horses are suitable for both inexperienced and experienced riders including school-aged children. Each ride is tailored to the interests and abilities of our guests. Most of our rides are private. We do not take out more than 4-5 guests in one group, and we do not mix groups of different riding levels. For your safety, rides speed is walk/trot to the least able horse and rider combination of your group.

  When you make your reservation, we ask questions about your riding experience and the weight-height of the adult riders as well as the age and weight of any children. Our concern is the rider's safety.
   Most of our horses have been working for us about 5-6 years, and some longer. You can be confident we will be able to give you a horse that is best suited to your riding level, and your interests.

 We put the selected horses into our trailers for the 5 minute trip to the forest, and you follow in your vehicle. The guided, private 2 hour (or+) ride is on top of the horse, in the forest. We have the most interesting forest trails in the state. We go through natural live oaks mixed with pine, magnolias and northern oaks, some swampy cypress groves areas where deer browse, armadillos wander and wild pigs root in soft areas. Nearly every ride sees some wildlife more interesting than blue jays.

Carriage Ride with Lunch
Horse drawn carriage rides available seasonally from November 15th-April 15th.
Relax and enjoy a private ride, picnic lunch, and the views of the forest. Your total package will last between 2 and 2 1/2 hours.
 Group size is limited to carriage. (2-3 adults or 1 adult plus 2-3 children).
 $150.00 plus tax and tip.

WE OFFER RIDING LESSONS -- PRIVATE OR GROUP
For B&B guests or, "non" guests
 One hour lessons are  $60.00 per horse for private/ $25.00 per horse for 2-3 riders, or $20.00 per horse for 4-5 riders. We offer beginner to intermediate  English instruction or all levels of Western instruction. We can also do speed event training for all levels of rider.
Participant is responsible for preparing and putting away the horse they are assigned. This can be part of the hour lesson, or the riders can arrive early and prep on their own time.
For a fee of $10.00 per horse extra, the horse will be prepared and  put away for you.
Advanced English lessons can be scheduled with proper notice so the instructor can allow time to be available. Extra cost per lesson.
